Trained and shown by Bobby Lewis, Bit Of Heat qualified 2X for the World Show (Open) in Heading, once in Heeling and was a finalist in Heading.  In 2003 he was the Dixie National Champion in Heading at the Southern Classic Quarter Horse Show (Open).  In 2005 he won the Champion Heading Horse and the Purina Open Ranch Versatility events.

Grant Mitchell head of the horse division of Singleton ranches states that the Henrietta Gal line have been some of their favorites to ride and all of Henrietta Smokes foals, except this mare who was purchased as a yearling, have all gone back into the remuda string and are utilized daily on their ranch in Lamy, New Mexico.
